Newsletter from the Headteacher 14th September

Dear Parents/Carers

Welcome back to everybody at the beginning of a new school year. We are all getting into the swing of things having been here for a fortnight now and it has been great to see old friends again and to share memories and experiences of a great summer holiday. We also welcome new friends to the school again this year – all our new pupils, those who have joined Meithrin/Nursery for the first time and those pupils who have moved from elsewhere in the country and other schools. Also joining us for the first time this year is Mr Huw Llewelyn-Jones who will be teaching Dosbarth Maelgwn (Year 4) and Miss Sian Eckley who is joining us as a Teaching Assistant in the Foundation Phase. We hope that you enjoy being part of the Ysgol Craig y Don family.

The new school year has got off to a fantastic start with all of us working together, we can ensure that Ysgol Craig y Don enjoys another successful and exciting year.
