Newsletter 21st September 2018

Dear Parents/Carers

Punctuality; It is becoming apparent that many children are often late for school.  Teaching and Learning time begins at 9.00 a.m. and therefore, punctuality is essential.  Aim to get here before 9.00 a.m.  Gates to the yards are locked as soon as possible after 9.00 a.m. therefore all late pupils have to enter the school through the main entrance.  Here, a mandatory record is taken of their lateness, which is monitored by the Educational Social Worker.

Parking: You are kindly reminded that parking on the zig-zags by the school entrance is NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.  It is clearly signposted.  You will be requested to move on if you do so.  Traffic Wardens and PCSOs are on duty on occasion, and may report any vehicle that parks in this area.  The zig-zags are there to protect your children and for the safety of all entering and leaving the premises.  We realise that finding space to park is difficult. We also have to maintain a good relationship with our neighbours, so parking a little further away and walking to school would be an option.
