ROYAL BRITISH LEGION/POPPY APPEAL – we still have a few items for sale tomorrow. Thank you for your support.

T4U CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES REMINDER. Leaflets with full information have been sent home with pupils – please can you bring any filled shoeboxes to school by Monday morning 11th November please. Thank you.

LLANDUDNO TOWN COUNCIL CHRISTMAS PARADE Saturday 7th December REMINDER: Again this year, 20 seats have been allocated to pupils aged between five and eleven. If you would like your child to take part (land train/goody bag), forms will be available from the school office but must be returned by tomorrow morning, Friday 8th November. Seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis on receipt of completed forms. We have only had one form returned so far.

PANTO 13th December (Reception to Year 6 pupils) Reminder: If you want to secure a seat for your child, payment MUST be received by Monday 11th November – money was due on the 21st October. Any further delay in payment may affect the availability of a ticket for your child.

YEAR 5 CYCLE TRAINING REMINDER: Just a reminder that sessions will start TOMORROW Friday 8th November – all pupils will need to remember to bring their bikes to school along with helmets.

NEXT PTA MEETING: Please note the next meeting will be held this Monday 11th November at 3.30pm to discuss the Christmas Fayre.

CHILDREN IN NEED FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER OWN CLOTHES DAY: We will having an own clothes day next Friday 15th November in lieu of donations towards this worthy cause. Many thanks for your support.

SCHOOL CHRISTMAS FAYRE: This will be held on Thursday 5th December from 3 – 4.30pm. Children can wear their own clothes in lieu of donations (as follows) on the following dates –

Tuesday 3rd December Own Clothes Day – tombola item donations please.

Thursday 5th December Own Clothes Day – please can Infants bring cakes to school and Juniors bring bottles (any type of bottle). Many thanks in advance for your support.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY THURSDAY 19TH DECEMBER – we will be raising funds this year for the Joshua Tree Foundation a children’s cancer charity who provide practical, educational and emotional support to children and their families. There is a new family support hub being set up in Colwyn Bay. Further information can be found on www.thejoshuatree.org.uk

SCHOOL CHRISTMAS DINNER Thursday 5th December: If your child does not normally have school dinners but would like to have the Christmas dinner, please fill in the form that will be going home with pupils tomorrow and return to school asap. Thank you

NEW NURSERY CLASS STARTERS SEPTEMBER 2020: If you have a child who will be 3 years old by 31st August 2020, forms are now available to collect from the school office or they can be done on-line on www.conwy.gov.uk/admissions. Thank you

DINNER MONEY ARREARS: Please can all parents ensure that any dinner money arrears (on Parent Pay) are paid in full urgently please. Thank you!

CHASEBELL AFTERSCHOOL CLUB REMINDER– situated on school grounds. Chasebell currently have some out of school club spaces. The cost is £8 per week from 3-3.30pm – it saves parents coming twice to collect juniors. They also offer care from 3-6pm and accept childcare vouchers, tax-free childcare and the 30 hours free child care and are open all school holidays and training days (not bank holidays). ALDI SPORTS TOKENS– we have now collected two posters worth of tokens – that you so much everyone for your support. We also had a few tokens left over which we gave to another local school.

JUNIOR AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS – please note that Tri-Golf sessions finished before half term as Mrs Owen is expecting her own mini golfer very soon!

Monday – Dragon Sports (Years 4 – 6), 3.30-4.15pm, Mrs Merian Hughes, Year 4.

Monday – Netball (Years 4 – 6) 3.30 – 4.15pm

Monday Lunchtime Football 12.45-1.15pm Years 3 – 6 by invitation – children to see Mr Huw Llewelyn Jones if interested please. If your child is attending these sessions, please ensure they have appropriate clothing with them – sessions take place on the school field. Leader – Mr Huw Llywelyn Jones, Year 4.

Tuesday Cookery Club 3.30 – 4.30pm – Year 6 – as advised in individual letters.

Wednesday Rugby (Years 3-6), 3.30 – 4.15pm

Wednesday Learning to Be sessions (Tuition services £10 per session, contact 07952 065735 as per instructions from them). Free taster sessions are available! Sessions finish at 5pm.

Thursday – Clwb Urdd – Years 3 – 6. 3.30 – 4.15. All children attending must be members of the Urdd, please visit their website to complete an on-line application. Thank you.

Friday lunchtime Chess Club for Years 3 to 6 – open invitation to all. Being held in Dosbarth Maelgwn Year 4 with Mr Llywelyn Jones.
