PTA OWN CLOTHES DAY Thursday 14th December – Infants to bring cake donations please and Juniors to bring bottle donations please for the Christmas Fayre.
CHRISTMAS FAYRE: This will be held on Thursday 14th December from 3-5pm. Parents will need to collect Year 3 and 4 children from their class at 3pm to attend the Fayre – if not collected, they will leave school via the gate as normal at 3.30pm. Year 5 & 6 pupils will be able to attend the Fayre only if parents have given written permission, otherwise they will also go home at 3.30pm as usual.
Christmas Concert Tickets – entry to concerts is by ticket only – no ticket, no entry. Tickets will be given to the children on the Friday before performances. Everyone who has asked for tickets so far have been allocated those they requested.
Years 1 & 2 Born in a Barn – We have spare tickets for Monday 11th at 2pm and Tuesday 12th at 2pm (evening performance is sold out). If you would like to order tickets, please write which concert you would like tickets for clearly on an envelope along with your child’s name and class and enclose £2 payment per ticket. Thank you. Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
Juniors Christmas Show – We have spare tickets for Tuesday 12th December at 1.30pm (dress rehearsal, not full performance) and Wednesday 13th December at 1.30 pm (evening performance is sold out). If you would like to order tickets, please write which concert you would like tickets for clearly on an envelope along with your child’s name and class and enclose £2 payment per ticket. Thank you. Reception Christmas Concert – A King is Born. We do have spare tickets for Tuesday 19th December at 2pm and Tuesday 19th December at 6pm. TY HAPUS FOOD BANK DONATIONS: Many thanks to those who donated items to this worthy cause, we managed to fill a shopping trolley! Many thanks to the PTA for arranging this.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS – please make a note of dates for the following if your child/children attend any of the clubs: Start dates for the New Year will be advised in January.
Tuesday 3.30-4.30 COOKERY CLUB Year 6 (on a rota basis)
Tuesday 3.30 – 4.30 Years 3 – 6 with Llandudno FOOTBALL in the Community (as per letter e-mailed to parents, there is a charge for this activity). Details available from LlFiC. Last session is 12th December.
Wednesday 3.30 – 4.15 TRI-GOLF – now open to Years 3 to 6 (in the school hall) – last session 6th December.
Wednesday 3.30 – 4.15 NETBALL for Years 3 – 6 – this is weather dependent, please collect children if it is raining or there are high winds. The last session will be 6th December.
Thursday 3.30 – 4.15pm URDD (in school hall) – the last Urdd session for this year will be on 7th December.
NURSERY INTAKE for September 2018. If you have a child that will be 3 years old by 31st August 2018, you need to apply now for a Nursery Class Place. You can collect a yellow form from the school office and –forms must be submitted by 15th December 2017 at the latest.

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY FRIDAY 15th December: This is to raise funds for Save the Children. Children are welcome to wear a Christmas Jumper on the day in lieu of donations for this cause.
CRAIG Y DON COMMUNITY CENTRE COFFEE MORNING: Some of the School Choir will be singing on Friday 15th December from 10.30am – all welcome to attend.
END OF TERM: Last day in school is Friday 22nd December
START OF NEW TERM: Staff training day on Monday 8th January, children back to school on Tuesday 9th January.
