JUMP TO JUNIORS PARENTS MEETING (Year 2 to Year 3): This will take place on Wednesday 3rd July at 4pm and will be held in the School Hall for all current Year 2 parents.
MAIN ENTRANCE – YEAR 3 TRANSFORMATION: All parents/carers should have received a link (below) so that you can see how Blwyddyn 3 have transformed the main entrance to our school. You don’t need a Twitter account to view the video but if you do have one, the pupils would love it if you could like and retweet their video so that their important message about reusing plastics and looking after the environment can be spread far and wide!

Blwyddyn 3 would also like to say DIOLCH YN FAWR IAWN to everyone that has sent in their used bottle tops and milk cartons and a big thank you to the PTA for donating some money for the plants, paint and compost. 🌿

Wednesday – Rugby – no session next Wednesday 26th June.
SCHOOL TRIPS: All trips need to be paid via Parent pay please. Also ensure that you return your slips to school stating if your child needs a school packed lunch on the day. Thank you
SPORTS DAY DATES (reminders): Please note that Sports Days are being held as follows (weather permitting)-
Years 1 & 2 Classes (Seiriol, Cybi, Conwy, Clwyd) – Monday 24th June 1.30pm start
Reception Classes (Penrhyn, Gogarth and Nursery Morning) – Tuesday 25th June 10am start.
Nursery Afternoon Class – Tuesday 25th June 2.15pm start.
Juniors Years 3 & 4 (Crafnant, Geirionydd, Maelgwn, Llywelyn) – Wednesday 26th June, 10am start
Juniors Years 5 & 6 (Heulfre, Gloddaeth, Siabod, Wyddfa) – Wednesday 26th June, 1.30pm start.
If Sports Days need to be cancelled due to bad weather, parents will be sent a text and e-mail and the Calendar on the website will be updated – there is no need to telephone the school as this delays the process. Thank you
URDD CROSS COUNTRY (Juniors) – as per the e-mail sent to Juniors Parents last week, this is now taking place this coming Monday 24th June at 6pm in Stad y Faenol, Bangor.
URDD ATHLETICS: The next round will be held on Tuesday June 25th at 6pm at Parc Eirias.
Nursery and Reception ONLY Own Clothes Day – will be held on Wednesday 26th June in lieu of donations of plants to brighten up the under 5’s garden in time for the Llandudno in Bloom competition. Thank you for your support.
Safeguarding Children On-line – Workshop at Ysgol John Bright at 6pm on Wednesday 26th June (parents have also been e-mailed with information) – open to all parents and carers.
Year 6 Leaver’s Party: This will be held on Tuesday 16th July from 5.30 – 7pm at Ysgol Craig y Don. Invitations have been given to all Year 6 pupils. Please note that Year 6 pupils will not be allowed to leave school early on the day, thank you. Please let Reception know if you can help set-up/clear away for the event.
SUMMER FAYRE: The Summer Fayre will take place on Thursday July 11th from 3-5pm. If you know of any local traders who would like to attend or donate a raffle prize, please ask them to contact the school Reception. We also need volunteers to help set-up and clear up on the day – please contact Reception if you can help as the Fayre cannot go ahead without help. Raffle tickets will be sent home with pupils next week – thank you for your support.
NEW NURSERY INTAKE PARENTS EVENING REMINDER: This will be held on Monday 1st July at 6pm.
NEW NURSERY INTAKE TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC REMINDER – these sessions will be held on Wednesday July 3rd – times will be allocated at the above Parents Evening on Monday 1st July.
YEAR 6 TRANSITION DAYS to Ysgol John Bright – parents have already been given letters from John Brights regarding this – children will attend John Bright’s from Monday 1st July to Wednesday 3rd July.
MUSIC LESSONS – if you have not yet paid for this term’s Music Lessons, please do so urgently thank you.
DAILY MILE INFORMATION (Reminder): The Young Ambassadors and Mrs Owen have revived the Daily Mile throughout the school – 15 minutes of running/jogging should happen on a daily basis to boost brain power, concentration and wellbeing. It’s proven!! Record sheets will be kept to see which classes have participated the most during the week.
JUNIORS THURSDAY FITNESS (reminder): This continues takes place every Thursday from 2.30-3.15pm.
PE KITS: PLEASE CAN YOU ENSURE THAT ALL CHILDREN THEREFORE HAVE THEIR PE KITS IN SCHOOL AND WATER BOTTLES EVERY DAY.

Monday Football 12.45-1.15pm Years 3 – 6 by invitation – children to see Mr Huw Llewelyn Jones if interested please. If your child is attending these sessions, please ensure they have appropriate clothing with them – sessions take place on the school field.
