Pupil Clothing Reminder – please ensure that your child/ren bring their coats to school. They are also welcome to wear additional layers to school as the classrooms need to be well ventilated.
Tempest Photography – Photographs have arrived and will be going home with the pupils today.
PTA fundraising event for Nursery and Reception pupils reminder – judging for the best decorated Halloween themed milk bottle will be done this week. Please can you bring the milk bottles (containing any spare coins that you may have in the bottles) by Thursday at the latest please. Thank you.
Teams4U Christmas Shoeboxes – leaflets will be going home with pupils today. If you would like to take part in the Shoebox Campaign this year, please bring filled Shoeboxes to school by Friday 12th November. Full details can be found in the leaflets or you can visit their website on ww.teams4u.com
Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal – We have a very limited supply of poppy stickers, zip pulls, reflectors, wristbands and snap bands available to buy in school from Monday 8th November onwards. Suggested donations are 50p – £1.50 depending on the item – one item per child initially. Please can Infant pupils bring money in an envelope clearly marked with their name, class and ‘Poppy Appeal’. Thank you
Year 5 Cycle Training reminder – these will be held on Thursday 11th, 18th and 25th November.
Covid Symptoms- Reminder – We do still have Covid measures in place although some have been relaxed and our response to a positive case will not lead to whole contact groups being asked to isolate. One of the key factors in ensuring the success of the current measures is that we keep the virus out of school. Therefore, we ask you to ensure that you do not send your child to school with any Covid symptoms or if they are unwell. An Update on the current isolation guidelines can be found at the end of this letter.
LOST PROPERTY – we have a number of cardigans/jumpers/water bottles school without any names on them. Please ensure you label all your childrens’ belongings. Thank you.
Packed Lunches reminder – to reduce the risk of choking, please ensure any grapes/cherry tomatoes provided in lunchboxes / for snacks are cut lengthways.
