We are entering a very busy time in school with school trips, sponsored walks and sports days etc. Please take the time read through this letter noting any events relevant to you/your children – we have also included a page at the end of the letter with most events included in date order (excluding school trips). Please remember, all events can be seen on our School Calendar on our school website.
SPORTS DAY DATES
YEARS 1 & 2 (CONWY, CYBI, CLWYD) – rescheduled for Wednesday 28th June, 1.30pm – on school grounds.
JUNIORS SPORTS DAY (Years 3 to 6) – Thursday 29 June. Years 3 and 4 will be from 10am – 11.30am and Years 5 and 6 will be from 1.30pm – 3pm. THESE WILL BE HELD AT LLANDUDNO FOOTBALL CLUB (FITC)
AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS Update
Mondays – Dragon Sports for Years 4, 5 and 6 from 3.30pm – 4.15pm (weather dependant) – cancelled for Monday 26th June.
Tuesdays – Cookery Club Year 6 – will continue on a rota basis. 3.30-4.30pm
Wednesdays – TRI- GOLF SESSIONS for Years 4 & 5, 3.30 – 4.15pm
Wednesdays – Gardening Club (Reception classes – as per details provided)
URDD – no further sessions until after the summer holidays (dates to be advised)
PTA YEAR 6 LEAVER’S CELEBRATION – change to date and venue – the date has been changed to Monday 17th July – 6.30-8.30pm.
Craig y Don Party in the Park – this is being held this Sunday 25th June 12 to 4pm, all welcome. A programme of events can be found on www.craigydon.co.uk/park/park-events-2017

JUNIORS SPORTS DAY (Years 3 to 6) – Thursday 29 June (being held at LLANDUDNO FOOTBALL CLUB (FITC). Years 3 and 4 will be from 10am – 11.30am and Years 5 and 6 will be from 1.30pm – 3pm.
JUMP TO JUNIORS MEETING for current Year 2 and current Year 3 Parents. This will be held at 4pm on Wednesday 5th July.
Monday 3rd July – children are in school.
Year 6 Transition Week to Ysgol John Brights – w/c 3rd July 2017 (however our Year 6 pupils will be on their school trip with us on Tuesday 4th July to Llangollen)
Parents Evening for Nursery Intake for September 2017 – this will be held on Tuesday 4th July at 6pm in the School Hall.
Transition Sessions to new classes will be held on Thursday 6th July.
Teddy Bear’s Picnic for new Nursery Intake – during Thursday 6th July (time slots to be advised during the parents evening on Tuesday 4th July)
Year 1 & 2 PTA Sponsored Walk FANCY DRESS to Paddling Pool – Friday 7th July
PTA NON UNIFORM DAY Tuesday 11th July (Tombola donations please for School Fayre)
PTA NON UNIFORM DAY Thursday 13th July (Infants to bring cake donations for Fayre and Juniors to bring Bottle donations please).
SUMMER FAYRE – will be held on Thursday 13th July from 3pm-5pm.
PTA YEAR 6 LEAVER’S CELEBRATION – the date and venue have been changed to Monday 17th July – 6.30-8.30pm (venue changed).
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL before Summer Holidays – Thursday 20th July.
September 2017 start date for children, Tuesday 5th September. (Staff Training Day on Monday 4th September)
