Letter from Headteacher

Dear Parents/Carers

McMillan Cake Sale thanks once again to everyone who was involved in the Cake Sale which was a great success.  We raised a grand total of £490.12 which is amazing!

Tempest Photography – If you would like to order Tempest photographs, please note that you must order them ONLINE.  Please do not return any orders/payment to school. If you order online BY TUESDAY OCTOBER 12th, you can choose for the photos to be delivered free of charge to school.  After that date they would need to be posted to your home address with a delivery fee to Tempest

Dogs – Please can we remind parents/carers that dogs (except assistance dogs) are NOT allowed on school premises – this means they should not come into school through the gates (even if they are being carried).

Covid Symptoms- ReminderWe do still have Covid measures in place although some have been relaxed and our response to a positive case will not lead to whole contact groups being asked to isolate.  One of the key factors in ensuring the success of the current measures is that we keep the virus out of school.  Therefore, we ask you to ensure that you do not send your child to school with any Covid symptoms or if they are unwell.

LOST PROPERTY – a number of cardigans/jumpers/water bottles etc have been left in school without any names on them.  Please ensure you label all your childrens’ belongings.  Thank you.

PANTOMIME / ALADDIN (RECEPTION TO YEAR 6) Thursday 16th December 2021 (AM) – just a reminder that ALL PAYMENTS FOR THE PANTO MUST BE MADE USING PARENT PAY by Thursday October 21st please.  Thank you.

PTA events have been scheduled as follows –

Details of a PTA fundraising event for Nursery and Reception pupils there will be a prize for the best decorated Halloween themed milk bottle (small plastic milk bottles will be provided by school week commencing 18th October).  We would be grateful if you could please pop any spare coins that you may have into the bottles.  Please can the decorated bottles be returned after half term on Monday 1st November – thank you!

Film Night Years 1 and 2 (Conwy, Cybi and Clwyd), 3-4.30pm on Wednesday 13th October, £2.50 per child to include a drink and crisps.  If you would like your child/ren to attend, please pop the correct money in a sealed envelope marked with your child’s name and class – this can then be handed to the class teacher on the morning of 13th October.    The Film Night will start at 3pm straight after school and children can then be collected as normal from the Infant Yard at 4.30pm.

Monsters Ball Years 3 & 4 (Crafnant, Geirionydd and Maelgwn).  4.30-5.30pm on Wednesday 20th October, £3 per child to include drinks.
