Letter from Headteacher

Dear Parents/Carers,

The beginning and the end of the school day are busy times. Hundreds of pupils arriving or leaving, hundreds of parents picking up or dropping off. We need to ensure that these periods are as safe as possible for everyone and that we respect our neighbours and their properties.

Parking on pavements, across entrances to private properties, on yellow zig-zags or yellow lines is not acceptable. We are asking you kindly to park responsibly and according to the rules and laws laid down in the Highway Code. Here are links to further information:

As a school, we want to nurture the positive relationship we enjoy with our local community. We don’t want to be seen as a nuisance. We also want to keep everyone safe. Let’s not wait until someone is hurt. Please abide by the regulations that are in place to protect all road users, pedestrians and local residents.

Yours sincerely,

Iwan Jones

Headteacher.
