Letter from Headteacher 13th January 2017

Dear Parents/Carers

PTA MEETING – the next meeting with be held on Wednesday 18th January at 3.30pm. All welcome, please bring along your fundraising ideas!

Years 2 to 6 NATIONAL NUMERACY and READING TESTS: This year’s statutory tests for pupils in years 2 to 6 will take place between Wednesday 3rd May and 10th May.  These tests are statutory, that is to say every child in the relevant year groups must sit them and they can only be administered during the official time period above.  Therefore, we do not expect any children in years 2 to 6 to be on holiday during the period from April 25th to 11th May.  The school will not authorise holidays taken by pupils during this period.  For further information about the national tests, visit the Welsh Government’s Learning Wales Website at www.learning.gov.wales
