Christmas Raffle –There are cash prizes to be won and the PTA will be looking for donations from local business. We now also have a £50 voucher from Hickory’s Rhos on Sea and a £10 voucher for Scent With Love as prizes. Other prizes include – ‘Just Jo Studio’ for the beautiful Next Generation handmade dolls outfit, the Co-op and the Chocolate Box for donations of wine, Ballooning Marvellous for their Voucher and Coffee V for two Coffee and Cake vouchers. If you would like to donate a raffle prize please let the office know so that we can include your details in our social media. Thank you in advance for your support.
St. Paul’s Church Craig y Don Christmas Tree Exhibition – we were delighted that our tree came joint second in the Christmas tree competition! Thank you to all the classes for donating their Christmas decorations – they all look wonderful up on our tinsel tree in the school Hall.
The final total raised for Ty Gobaith during the Double Dress day was £577.26 which is absolutely amazing. Thank you for your support.
After School Clubs (Football and Tennis, years 5 and 6) – if your child attends these clubs, please note the last after school clubs before Christmas will be held week commencing 13th December. There will be no clubs week commencing 20th December.
Christmas Parties – these will be held on the following days, pupils are welcome to wear their own/party clothes on their Party days.
Nursery and Reception children Christmas Party/Own clothes – Monday 13th December.
Years 5 & 6 – Christmas Party/Own Clothes on Tuesday 14th December
Years 3 & 4 – Christmas Party/Own clothes on Wednesday 15th December.
Thursday 16th Panto Day – Uniform please.
Year 1 and 2 Christmas Party/Own clothes – Friday 17th December (donations please toward St. Davids Hospice – this is also the Christmas Jumper Day for other pupils)
Future Christmas Jumper Days Reminder – we will be having a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 17th December – donations if desired please towards St. David’s Hospice. The last day of school will also be a Christmas Jumper Day – Wednesday 22nd December (no need for a donation, just for fun if pupils want to join in).
School Dinner on Thursday 16th December – due to the Panto visit, the menu will be changed to chicken goujons, wedges and peas with a biscuit and juice. Many thanks

Nursery Intake September 2022 – if you, or someone you know, has a child who will be three by 31st August 2022, please complete an Application Form to start in our Nursery class in September 2022 by clicking on the following link (Nursery applications don’t close until 18 February 2022). (We know the following link mentions Junior Yr3 but there is no need for anyone to complete a form for Year 3)
LOST PROPERTY – we have a number of cardigans/jumpers/water bottles in school without any names on them. Please ensure you label all your childrens’ belongings. Thank you.
Packed Lunches reminder – to reduce the risk of choking, please ensure any grapes/cherry tomatoes provided in lunchboxes / for snacks are cut lengthways.
